All Washington University in St. Louis students are required to file an Intent to Graduate form online at WebSTAC in order to graduate or to participate in Commencement exercises.
The deadlines for filing an Intent to Graduate (ITG) are established by the schools and indicated below. If you have missed the deadline for filing your Intent, contact the student services area in your school right away.

After Filing Your Intent
Once you file the Intent, your academic division is notified to consider you as a candidate for degree. They will evaluate your record to determine if you have met degree requirements and submit the names of all final degree recipients to the university registrar. The Office of the University Registrar will post your degree and conferral dates to your record. If you fail to complete degree requirements, you must refile the Intent to Graduate form for a subsequent degree period.
