Faculty and staff members handling student records, scheduling, offering or grading courses and advising students will find information concerning policies, systems and resources below.

The Student Information System (SIS) is Washington University’s core system to store and use student data, and serve as the official system of record for student information. SIS user interfaces include client software and web applications supporting all activities that use student and/or course information to provide services and deliver the overall student experience, including Canvas, course feedback processes, Campus Card services, and more.  Information about access to student systems, including WebFAC, WebAdvising, SIS Admin and WUCRSL, may be found here .

WashU is implementing Workday Student to replace the SIS ecosystem over the course of the 2024-25 academic year.  Communications and information regarding training, access and when systems will transition are delivered to affected users by the Student Sunrise Project, the Office of the University Registrar and WashU IT, respectively.  Visit WashU’s Workday website for support and to submit an inquiry.

The Office of the University Registrar maintains several “production” calendars to support ongoing activities working with SIS and related systems. These are restricted to specific administrative partners in schools and WUIT. Every attempt is made to ensure accuracy of the calendar at time of publication; nonetheless, activities may shift and the calendar is updated accordingly.
