Located in the heart of the Danforth Campus in the historic Ann W. Olin Women’s Building, the Office of the University Registrar is a resource for faculty, students and staff.  The Office provides academic records services and leadership in the use and maintenance of student systems and data.

Committed to Student Success

The Office of the University Registrar is responsible for the maintenance of students’ permanent academic records, the administration of student systems and coordinating services related to academic policies, registration, courses, degree progress and conferral, and classroom scheduling.

This office certifies student enrollments, degrees awarded and academic eligibility to various governmental, public, private and academic agencies. These agencies include, but are not limited to, the Veterans Administration and the National Student Clearinghouse as required by law. All release of student information is guided by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 as Amended (FERPA).

Many of our services are available on our website or in student systems. Current and former students and campus partners are invited to visit our our office in person. All are welcome. We look forward to helping make your Washington University experience a good one.
